halloween..

Halloween (shorten from "All Hallows' Evening") is derived from Old Irish meaning "summer's end", celebrating the end of the "lighter half" of the year n beginning of the "darker half". it is also the festival of the dead. the border between this world n the Otherworld became thin, allowing both harmless n harmful spirits to pass through on this day.

it is celebrated on October 31, also named the "Eve of" All Saints' Day (November 1st). it is believed that wearing costumes n masks, disguising oneself as a harmful spirit is required to ward off harmful spirits. most christians believe that the tradition is far from being "satanic" n it holds no threat to the children, being taught about death n mortality. other christians feel concerned n reject the holiday because they perceive it as evil.

fiction: deadened..

dodging n hiding, he was eager to escape. harsh breathing trailing close with an unwelcoming aura, the cloaked shadow approached with threatening growls deep down its throat. numbed from all the running, he desperately squeezed into the tight, wet corner. fists clenched, holding his breath while the clocked shadow continue to pace closer n closer.

movie: cloudy with a chance of meatballs..

it may not have the most interesting animation, but the 3D experience it brought was simply breathtaking! while the small town was stuck eating sardines for the rest of their life, an unseemly scientist created a machine that collected clouds n transformed it into the food that was programmed into it. not until the machine overload did he had to be responsible of fixing it, saving all mankind.

advancing unconsciously, complimenting each others by completing each others' sentences n actions. a slight change of expression, a moment of silence, a look in the eyes, everything speak on their own. an area not obviously visible, but to know without asking definitely gives the utmost satisfying sensation.

白羊座 (3/21-4/19)
如果白羊女生要報復，你肯定不需擔心她耍"手段"，受火星所守護的她性急到沒那個時間（也沒那麼"曲折"的頭腦），她生氣的時候會抓狂、會撂"狠話"，稍有暴力傾向的還會摔東西，一副狠狠的樣子。但是，真要執行所謂"報復"，對她而言難度略嫌高些，看她表情就知道正在"心懷不軌"，肯定失敗。她向來作風乾脆，常常直接走到你面前賞給你一個巴掌，既簡單又明瞭，然後趕快交下一個男友氣死你。

moving forward mindlessly, leaving half its agility behind, the surroundings turned monotonous, pausing in their loop-like pace. buildings held no shadow, alleys revolved into masses of blackness; the pavements illuminated in contrast, revealing the most welcoming lane takeable in the strangely hollow space. it leaped backward rebelliously, fending off the temptation. n that was when the horrid yowl ripped through the silence.

he was an orphaned slave who became the top military student. an unexpected turn of events left him an escaped convict. protected by 3 of the 7 ghost of the church, he discovered many connections between himself n the church. a very interesting anime, with unique concept n settings. especially the battles, weapons were words formed with feelings, with its strength depending on how sincere these feelings were.

cupped her face in both his palms, he brought his face just close enough to plant a parting kiss lightly on her lips. it sent an electrified shock through her. a separation so short yet so sad. he was always keen to take in all her nonsenses. feared escaped her, wondering if she was good enough for him. with a quiet sigh of resignation, she stood under the dimming sky, waving with a smile she fought so hard to put on, strove to look reassuring to him. brushing aside the sadness, she continues to anticipate.

movie: surrogates..

a similar bunch of people behind Terminator 3 (2003) had came up with an ideal world so safe for people to live in, interacting through robotic surrogates - a perfect mechanical representations of themselves. he had to abandon his surrogate when the first murder in years happened.

a film so intense it held our attention throughout the hour. Physical Connection that we had taken for granted - a hug, a kiss - was distanced n blocked out by mere doors. having second thoughts after watching the film, safety doesn't seemed to matter anymore, living in such a desperately lonely world. technologies may not favor us all.

fiction: abracadabra..

he leaped through the forceful bound she cast. she looked up from her book n stared at him wide-eyed, startled with his dexterity to shake off the rejection the spell should have made him felt, like it did the others. mischievously he grinned, flashing a set of perfect white teeth, enjoyed watching her jaw dropped in disbelief. like her, he was more than what was assumed of him.

greek mythology: cerberus..

the beautiful three-headed hound, with a mane of live serpents n dragon's tail, was the watchdog of Hades, a realm of dead. it permitted new spirits to enter, but allowed none to leave or returned to the human world. Cerberus (offspring of Typhon n Echidna) was said to be flesh-eating, fierce enough that the gods fear him. Hercules once fetched Cerberus from the underworld. besides him, Orpheus was the only other person attempted to go against Cerberus.

swimming through the extreme crowds, grounds covered with flashes of colors figures. an adventure fell on an unlikely timing. "Comfortable" was indeed the word. consciousness drew clearer picture, unveiling what was taken for granted - a privileged one can only be bestowed upon n not requested of. spelling Fortunate in a capitalized F.

with a hidden ability, he joined hands with a Flame Haze to destroy monsters that sucked up human life. the longer they battled along side with each other, the tighter their bond grew. an entertaining anime without a moment of boredom. different battling style made it even more interesting as well.

yuki (ゆき、雪)..

taking an nap after breakfast, his definition of bed changing from 1 spot to another from time to time. don't get fooled, for he knew exactly that i was there in front of him with a camera. apparently the same reason those eyes returned shut.

greek mythology: medusa..

with grisly head filled with serpents, the beautiful n misunderstood serpent goddess - medusa, was more than what meets the eyes. she was, n still is, a feminine symbol of wisdom, beauty n power. raped by poseidon; the treacherous athena was blinded by jealousy, thus destroying her loveliest feature, which explained the rage medusa forever felt. with athena's help, she was killed by perseus, to silence women' wisdom n strength, an act of male domination to display heroic courage n skills.

星座：愛情vs友情..

愛情至上：

under the Character Studio Series he stood, the leftover few that are no more in the spotlight. it was difficult not to click while crossing path, a character i liked most in its anime. came in 2 outfits, the macho choice would have to be the snowy white uniform.

movie: låt den rätte komma in (let the right one in)..

a very beautiful film! unlike what was expected of a trashy horror film, each of the scenes were designed in a way it lingered long enough for its viewer to fully comprehend the delivered messages. though labeled horror, the film's plot drew a tender relationship of 2 lonely outcasts - a young boy n a vampire girl. a surprisingly heartwarming film worth catching.

yuki (ゆき、雪)..

taking a nap on the rice bag while we returned. dodging my camera as usual, but the blurry look would be such a waste to miss!

listening to the rhythmic drizzling forming outside, a calm night drifted slowly to a halt in blurry motion. what was expected would not remained expected. neither good nor bad, changes arose. voices echoing in the head, interrogating yet defending contradictorily. inconsistency drew doubts, mismatching words versus actions, reflected, patronizing in unwelcoming dreams. startled, waking up dreaded in sweat. saddened sweetness lingered to comfort.

an extremely entertaining n heartwarming anime! apparently a second season following closely behind. each with their unique ability, the Sekireis needed Love from a Master before they Were able to fully utilize their power. a dropout with a big heart, he ended up having 4 serikeis. n that's where the fun began! n so does the battles.

apparently owned by the shop owner, the cat was less than shy to clean itself right beside us during dinner. more curious than hungry, it did not beg for food, nor look for a pat or two. left looking uninterested, proven to be a contented little fellow.
